I’m one of the organizers for the Dallas chapter of Nodeschool. We are going through the git-it workshop at our next meetup .
As always you can come work on whatever workshop you want, but all of the organizers have already done git-it in advance, so we’ll be there to help you.
I guess I’m not really surprised since Mike Judge has a lot of Texas related stuff (like King of the Hill) and he does a really good job with his subtle lampooning. I was rewatching Office Space the other day and one of the characters mentions Las Colinas and I realized that it totally could have been filmed in Las Colinas since Irving looks like generic bland corporate anywhere. IMDB confirmed it was filmed in Austin and Dallas and now I like that movie a little bit more.
