I just finished reading Killing Lincoln by Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard. I ordinarily would never have sought out a book by Bill O’Reilly. He’s about 1% common sense surrounded by 99% hot air. This book was recommended to me by my in-laws who insist that he leaves current politics out of it. So how does a history book by a political talking head stand up?
I read a great book, Altered Carbon by Richard Morgan. I forget how I came across this book, it may have been a review somewhere or I found it at Half Price Books, however it came into my hands I’m sure glad it did. It may not be for everyone, but if you have my taste you will enjoy it.
I just finished reading How to How To Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. This book has been in continuous print since 1936 so there’s not much for me to say about it. It’s a great book and you should read it and I’ll briefly tell you why.
